Pro Pot Perm is an iron filter regenerant and a strong oxidizing agent that converts dissolved iron and/or manganese to insoluble oxides which can easily be removed through filtration. As an iron filter regenerant, Pot Perm regenerates and oxidizes greensand iron filter media, restoring the exchange capacity of the unit. Lab tests confirm that Pot Perm Plus is more effective at maintaining performance in greensand iron filters. Dosage and setting on your iron filter will remain the same.

Not much more to say, if your system requires this, this is what you need.Not 2lbsDoes what the iron filter manufacture recommended. Arrived on time, well packaged, and no problems.Worked as expected. Costly considering what it does. Small bottle we had to order four of them.Product was ordered as part of a scheduled purchase. The product was shipped on time and delivered two days prior to our scheduled water treatment maintenance. The product has worked as advertised. I will continue using the product and scheduled shipping.I don’t like that there is not a mention of the sodium sulphate +plus part in the products name.Keeps my iron filter working.When I opened the box I was slightly disappointed, the container showed 1 lb 12 oz as the weight not the advertised two pounds. Four ounces is 1/8 of the advertised weight, so I paid 12% more than I should have. I put the whole package on my kitchen scale and it weighs 30.6oz total, with the plastic jug... It is Potassium Permanganate so it will recharge my iron filter, but I'm not happy about the weight difference.
