I purchased the 100 quart pot for beer brewing.I don't know why I would rate this kettle any lower than 5 stars. If anything the annoying part is that there is a sticker on the bottom of the pot that's impossible to peel off. Other than that, this thing is super sturdy, no issues with heat distribution, it heats up way quicker than a stainless steel pot, and is insanely cheaper than a stainless steel pot.If used for brewing (such as mine), be sure to wash this with dish soap before using it the first time. The oils from the factory when making it are definitely on this pot. Also, boil a full 25 gallons of water with the lid on for an hour before using it for the first time. This will cause the metal to oxidize which means the inside of the pot will turn a bit darker. This is the protecting layer so that none of that aluminum will leech into the beer. From my research and taste, there seems to be no aluminum taste/leeching after doing that boiling process once. When stirring the beer with a spoon just keep in mind to do your best not to scrape the sides/bottom. That would scratch off a small portion of that layer.I'd recommend the pot to anyone. It took me a while to convince myself that I didn't need Stainless Steel and it's worked out just fine and in some ways better (quick ramp up to boiling since the conductivity of aluminum is much higher than Stainless Steel). My wallet thanked me for getting this pot.
